If you have had to stay home, I hope you are making the most of your time. Are you sewing, reading, cooking, working a puzzle, pampering yourself? Hope this finds you all well and taking some amount of pleasure in being home.
Working behind closed doors has the advantages of getting quilts quilted. It also has me thinking you may want to partake in a little fun.
Help your stash and play along with this Quilt in. I will supply the instructions and fabric amount needed and you will dig through the fabrics in your stash and play along. Sound like fun? This is a pretty easy quilt finishing around 62" x 71".
2 1/2 yards background we will call this natural, it does not have to be all the same fabric you could mix up the fabric and stay in the tone of your choice.
22 - block fabrics, 1/8 yard pieces or 11 fat quarters or raid your scraps. Fabrics should range in color from med to dark, the idea is to contrast with the background
1. cut background fabric into 84 - 4" squares 2. cut block fabric into 84 - 4" squares, will use 2 the same color per block, the rest of the fabric will be used in the next clues.
Look for the next clue next week.

Melt the butter and coconut oil in a double boiler.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and place it over ice water until the buttersolidify.
Once the butter is almost solid, transfer the bowl to your counter and add the almond and lavender oil.
Blend the mixture with an electric blender until it looks almost like whipped cream.
