Are you ready for Clue #2?
It has been fun digging through the stash, rediscover old favorites and find a few I had forgotten about, pleasant surprises every where. You haven't started? It is never to late to jump in. Last week you were to cut, 84 - four inch squares from background fabric, and 84 - four inch squares in pairs of two from the block fabric.
Week 2 Clue: Pair a background 4" square with a block 4" square, Right sides together(RST). Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of one square. Sew 1/4" away from both sides of the marked line. Cut on the marked line, creating two half-square triangles. (HSTs). Press toward the darker fabric. Trim square with your favorite method to 3 1/2". Repeat with all squares.
