May Showers?

Bring May Flowers?   Or more time to sew!  Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day.  This will be the last clue to our quilt-a-long.

New Arrivals -  Professional  Massage Stools, variety of color and two different heights.  If you haven't tried them you should.  They level your hips, straighten your back and are comfortable.

Classes,  Montana Longarm is starting to have a few classes.  Class size is limit as we are trying to follow guidelines.  If there is a class you would like to take and you don't see it here, just ask.

-Appliquilt, Thurs, May 14, 11-2,  Learn to applique as you quilt.
-Guide Class, Sat, May 16, 11-2, Learn the basics of how to use the longarm machine,  Then rent the machine to quilt your own quilts.
-Advanced Auto Pilot, Tue, May 19, 11-2, Learning the mask, push pin and split functions in the auto pilot program.
-Tangles, Wed, May 20, 11-2. Join Leslie and explore the fun of thread play.

Last clue to our quilt-a-long.  Hope you have enjoyed following along.  Post your pictures to our Facebook page as Donna and I would love to see what you have done.    Found another pattern for a quilt-a-long, look for it this fall.   Thank you for playing along.

1. Arrange the blocks into seven rows of six blocks. Note the fabric placement and block orientation in the picture below.
2. Sew the blocks together to form rows. Press the rows to the left on odd numbered rows and to the right in even numbered rows.
3. Sew the rows together to form the quilt center.  Press.
4.  I did not include the fabric requirements for the inner and outer border.  Thought you may just want to pull from your stash.  IF you want to follow the pattern cut six- 1 1/2 inch strips for inner border and seven - 3 1/2 inch strips for outer border.  Cut seven strips for binding.
5. Remember to measure your quilt in 3 places across length, average the three, then cut 1st border, sew on, press and repeat with top and bottom borders.  This will help to square up your quilt.

Thanks to Robert Kaufman Fabrics for the Pattern.  https://www.robertkaufman.com/assets/pdf/Cross-Check.pdf
