Did We Just Get Our First Blast of Winter?
Have you missed us? This has been a little crazy 2 weeks. The Quilt Art Extravaganza was so much fun. Thank you to all the customers that joined us, without you none of this happens. Julia Quiltoff, Peggy Holt, Heidi Farmer and Matt were great teachers and there was so much to learn. Thanks Innova for all the machines, that also helped to make this event great.
Then, I went on vacation. My sister came to visit and we had a wonderful time. Susan is a quilter. We had the best little quilt retreat for two.
Now it is back to work and looking forward to fall. On Sept 15th we will be starting the fall mystery quilt along. You may want to start gathering your fabrics. What color of scraps do you have the most of? Mine are green. This quilt could be fun using your scraps in multiple hues of one color. Pull from your stash, fat quarter or just a group of fabrics you love. The more fabrics the scrappier it will be. The pattern calls for thirteen 3/8 yd pieces, we will worry about borders if you want them later. Run, dig and search for the fabrics you want to play with next.
