Fabrics will be referred to as background = light (even if you choose to do something darker) and scraps or fat quarters = assorted prints. |
Clue #3 from light fabric cut:
If using one background fabric - cut 21 strips 1 1/2" by width of fabric from the strip cut 42 - 1 1/2" x 21" rectangles.Scrappy method - for larger scraps, cut as many 1 1/2" strips by with of fabric as you can get, from each 1 1/2" x WOF strip cut two 1 1/2" x 21" rectangles from smaller scraps cut as many 1 1/2" x length of fabric rectangles as you can get. Scraps would equal approx. 42 1 1/2" x 21" rectangles.
